Ever since I sent out my first parcel I have been using the USPS. They have delivered hundreds, if not thousands of letters and packages for my brand alone. I love the USPS and I never thought there would come a day when our beloved postal service would be under attack from within our own country. We live in dark times so I decided to shed some light on the situation. Given the decline in funding of the USPS which has in turn directly affected shipping domestically as well as internationally, not just for myself but for many other individuals and businesses globally, We created a #savetheusps capsule to help support by buying stamps. According to the American Postal Workers Union (APWU) there are various ways to take action in supporting our Postal Service. The best way that directly provides funds is by purchasing stamps. Many folks don’t realize that because of email and digital communication, we are less inclined to send letters and use postage; however there are still businesses who prefer a good old-fashioned stamp to send their mail including us! We will be donating 20% of proceeds to purchasing stamps, and then giving these to public libraries to use and to put to good use.
